Isn't it funny
I look in your eyes
I believe what your saying
I don't realize.
You're making up stories
You don't really care
Your heart is just set
On a one night affair.
One moment of pleasure
You think it's no crime
That one short brief moment
Is well worth your time.
But tell me just once
Did I cross your mind
Did you think of my feelings
When I'd come to find.
A note on the table
You already gone
Did you think it be easy
For me to go on.
If for just one brief moment
I could see you again
I'd try to explain
Right there and then.
But I'm sure when I'm finished
When I've poured out my heart
When you've heard it all
And I've fallen apart.
There won't be an answer
You still will not care
'Cause your heart was just set on a
'One Night Affair.'
