One To Remember Poem by Tanner Wilson

One To Remember

Rating: 4.5

Tonight is the night I'll confess my love,
To the one and only: now and forever.
It's like I'm a child, entranced by a dove
Soaring the nights warm air: as one, together.

Patience is a virute, or so they say,
But I think it's a waste of precious time.
With connections growing, the night turns into day,
And to tell you 'I Love You' still feels like a crime.

From the first time we kissed, so very long ago,
I've always felt this kinship to thee.
For i'm just a man that cannot forego,
This deepest sense of devotion, to my girl Missy.

If ever you look over because it feels like I'm gazing,
Just know that I'm thinking: 'You're beautiful and amazing! '
