One True Friend Poem by micheal john

One True Friend

We've journeyed for long
We've gone far and wide
We've known life before days were dawn
We've heard the singings of mississippi
We've had our bath taking in river eupherate
we've known life before days were dawn

Upon this island I've journeyed the lones path
All by myself
Every road that I've taking lead to my regret
I don't know if am going to make it!

But a friend came by and said to me
He said there is hope
There is a release of a new strength to carry on
There is a new song

He said to me;

When you walk through the vallies
When you staggers through the hills
When the night dims your sight
When on eerie path you are a loner
Remember you ain't alone

When the night calls of your day
And the sounds of your joy fades out
When sorrow comes knocking
When you look around and none is around you
Remember you ain't alone

When you struggle through the horrible path
When you cry for help and no help renders
When you fight for a stand and no one to hold onto
When you feel like letting go,
Remember I'm with you
You are never alone

I'm always with you
Until the very end
Until there be no mortals remain
You will always find me when you need me
You are never alone

If ten people cares for you
One of them is me
If two people cares for you
One of them is still me
And again if no one cares for you
That means am no longer in this world.
