Onion Poem by Meg Lealand

Onion

Stinging
Tears springing up
Close your eyes
Hold them in

Leaking
Down the cheek
Where all can see
And off the chin

Hurting
Pained feelings
Shame to cry
Patience wearing thin.

Onion.
