Only In America Poem by Leah Ross

Only In America

That I will say
One can get paid to flip off
Trumps motorcade
One can get fired from a job
They don't even work at
One can get arrested for freedom of speech
Speaking one's mind having a bumper sticker
Might seem funny trust me it's not
One can brag about groping laugh it up
Say it's okay to grab women anywhere
And still be viable run for a senate seat & get hired
One can endorse a pedophile while accused of assault
Ridiculous it's getting in the US anything goes
Our rights, freedoms liberties our going
What's next? ? ? Getting permission for an abortion
Getting a doctor's note men dictating what women can do
With her own body
