Always searching for a love we think we'll never find.
Oh heartache after heartache we start losing faith.

From mistakes we can't escape.
Our shattered dreams start burying us in darkness until we can no longer see the light.
Hate for ourselves and others start building up.
From all the shame, guilt, regret, and lies
we wonder who we are and how we've fallen so far.
Why can't we find someone to love us the way we yearn to be loved?
How does love turn to hate so fast?
Why does everyone give up?

Always searching for a love we think we'll never find.

Oh don't you know u have it.
Oh u have it all.
Jesus loves you.
Always has and always will.
So forget about the world and turn to Jesus.
He knew all our sins and loved us so much
he paid the price and died for us.
No other love can compare or be more true.
He'll never give up on you or forsake you.
So open your heart and turn to him now and watch the chains to your past break away.
Let the guilt and shame fade away.
Because you have been forgiven and set free.
