Do you know that it is quite hard to walk around and pretend
Pretend that nothing is wrong
That everything is as it should be
But there is in reality in my heart a sad song

You make my heart cry for help
Tears rolling down my cheek
Falling so sadly to the ground
As I wait for you, I am meek

Nothing ever hurt as bad as this
Love never seemed so far
You should open your eyes and look beyond
And not falsely like a fallen star

Please I am on my knees begging you
Open up your heart and let me in
Your heart will be cradled in my hands
Bolted and chained as deep as sin

I am here, I will always be
I will wait for the day you give me the key
Safe and sound my heart beats
One by one, till the day you see.
