Open Casket Poem by J.T. Derouen

Open Casket

I look down at the
Open Casket
Looking at my dark self
The one I killed.
Heaven opens up
For a new born child
A child born to darkness
A child who died to darkness
Letting light flow through
I let the corpse burn
Forever in flames
This becomes his fate.
