Open My Eyes
God why evil arise in all of us?
Why human heart can love
Yet do evil at the same time?
Why can’t we change our ways?
And be pure as white as snow.
Where can we hide from it?
How can we escape from it?
We do good for others,
Yet one comes to violate all our goodness.
Open my eyes,
Let me see your truth,
Let me reason with justice of your hands.
Let love resonate in my ears,
Rather than hate.
