Minnie May

Open Window - Poem by Minnie May

Eleanor was never too late
HE DID NOT WANT HER TO DIE
She tried not to mistake

She ignored her own problems
HE RAN INTO HER ROOM
She helped many hopeless

She went out always alone
IT WAS EMPTY
She wished secretly someone would take her home

She didn't get over this hump
THE WINDOW WAS OPEN
She decided to jump

She was too early
He was too late
Nobody is perfect
Please do not forget
