Open Your Hearts Poem by Susan Alldred Lugton

Open Your Hearts

Its strange isn't it
what we do with shit,
Why is it such a hit,
to stay the same.

Humans aren't we all,
batting the same ball.
Why do we always fall
into the shame.

Cos we are human,
so stop fuming.
Yes end all the stalling,
forget the blame.

So let's live again
and aim for a ten
Pause now at the amen,
no longer lame.

Open wide our hearts,
no more the false starts.
Look for something that lasts,
never the same.
