Opposing Force - Poem by Alex Kult

A concept can never truly have meaning
Without an opposing force
How can we know what love really is
Without hate of course
How can we learn self control and restraint
Without basic human needs
And how could we know the meaning of death
Without the will to breathe
How can we know calm and serenity
Without hurt and pain
And how could we understand the meaning of fun
Without a boring day
