Ordinary Girl Poem by Casey Gochnour

Ordinary Girl

Have you ever met someone and just thought they couldn’t be the one?
So you walk around and sometimes wonder,
If there might be none?

Because all these people are ordinary,
But you, my love are extraordinary.
You’re my four leaf-clover,
Not my last goodbye,
‘Cause I know it’s not over,
Between you and I.

You’re just no ordinary girl,
You’re my number one, my world.
I’m still in love with you,
And I know you are with me, too.

Baby, I’m the one you need,
So take my hand and let me lead.
I’ll take you by my side,
And we can make music all night.

Because all these people are ordinary,
But you, my love are extraordinary.
You’re my shooting star,
The only one I see,
Now hold on baby, let’s go far,
You need me.

You’re just no ordinary girl,
You’re my number one, my world.
I just can’t live without you,
And I know you won’t, too.

You’re my good luck, it seems,
The woman of my dreams.
And I just want you to know,

All these people are ordinary,
But you, my love are extraordinary.
You’re my lone ladybug,
When we’re alone, wrapped in love,
Holding onto my body, my sweet, lovely drug,
The only one I won’t get rid of.
I’d make a wish on you any day,
But for now my love, I’ll say.
You’re no ordinary girl,
You’re the most extraordinary,
In the whole wide world.
