Ordinary people speak a lofty thing,
And live another.
They fight the process,
And then discover.
It’s Ok.
Being ordinary is not so bad,
And speaking of lofty things makes us glad!
Living our lives just as they are,
While occasionally stopping to gaze at stars.
All of this can be accepted,
As long as we have fully trusted,
We never left the presence of God.
Our journey may be long,
And full of detours.
But the journey itself,
Only a lifetime of travel,
Across the palm of God.
