Ordinary Pleasures Poem by RIC BASTASA

Ordinary Pleasures

serve me my moringa juice
with virgin
coconut oil,
fried vietnamese
fish and steamed japanese
rice
the hot african
cocoa
all in one cambodian
plate....

eating with my bare filipino
hands,
grieving over an American
dream
and wishing for a trip in that
chinese
great wall...
