At times health
Prevents your poem
From getting written on paper
Though in the heart
Or mind...or both
Or transferred
To the internet
To publish your last caper

The tendons used
When pulling and writing
Get strained when overly used
During each task of the day
When lifting kids and animals

If you rotate back and forward
Go up and down and around
But stress and strain
Have torn lately
So now you move in pain

Get lots of rest
Use ice
Heat of course works too
Keep stabilized they say
That may just do the trick

But if you forget
And grab something
Be prepared to hear me
