My mind traces the footsteps of my memories
belly tosses raw emotion up,
eyes sloppy wet, they puff.
How did it come to this?
Did you say will you?
You said I do?
swollen throat steals my air,
I did, I do. But...
Not like that.
Not like this.
Can we continue to battle and fight?
Casualties will mount.
Our babies are beautiful.
Some people just make beautiful babies.
Some just aren't meant to be.
