Our Connection Poem by Kensy Jean

Our Connection

I am close to you, while you rest,
yet in your fantasy you sob.
On the off chance that no one but you could see me, so tranquil and quiet,
In any case, you should live somewhat more and fulfill your dream
A fantasy from which one day you'll wake and see me close by,
Also, know without a doubt that I'm still here and that I never 'passed on.'
In the quietness of starlight and the glow that daylight brings,
Also, hear my voice to quiet you, to state that it's okay,
For I'm just here next to you, murmuring in the night.
Obviously you'll cry, you'll miss me, your very soul will throb,
Be that as it may, I am here, a breath away, sitting tight for you to wake,
So realize that life is only a fantasy of adoration and transitory agony,
And know I'm waiting by your side to love you once again.
