Our Corner. Poem by Emily Alice Madden

Our Corner.

Our corner was the place we first met
Under the balcony for shelter from the wet
Ruining the day that was supposed to be so great.

Cowering in a corner, you finally spoke up, telling me your name.
Oh, hello, i didnt see you there. Im kelly. Tell me, what is your game?
Ryan, is my name, Oh can't you see? I shouldnt be talking to you, for I am so lame.
Now we are together, hopefully forever.
