A Teenage Love. Poem by Emily Alice Madden

A Teenage Love.

Rating: 5.0

When I see you, Im filled with hope,
But as you walk past, I wonder if I can cope.
Seeing you walking by,
just tells my head not to try,
Because I know your answer will be enough,
To make me feel so rough.
Nothing can take my love for you,
as my love for you is true.
Suddenly, you turn and speak to me,
Your eyes all filled with love, I see.
And as the words I hoped to hear spill from your lips
And you take my hands, and place them on your hips,
I start to wonder if we could really be,
I love you so much, that can't you see?
The words I love you, spoken so soft and sweet,
I start to think that You, the one i was so lucky to meet,
Could soon be my one, my only, my wife,
Me and you, together for life.
