Our Destruction Poem by Josie Hartnett

Our Destruction

We chop down the rainforest.
We dropp nuclear bombs.
We walk across the grass
Not looking down.
Crushing, hurting, destroying
The creatures, their homes.
But do we care.
We see the adverts,
The films on telly.
Feel sorry for the tiger
Who is dying out.
But then we go out forget all of this.
Let the poaching continue.
The over fishing continue,
Don’t care about the rainforest.
Do nothing to help.
Let them continue,
Hurting the earth.
Hurting the animals,
The inhabitants of
This Earth.
