We suffered a lot of detriment
Our witnesses were our weakness
They promised a lot of betterment
But long hopes caused sickness
And we waited for its fulfillment
So our hopes were dashed
Like prey we were caught
In the webs of these people
Like children we were deceived
By their sugar coated mouth
We suffered so much heartbreaks
Once again we danced to their tune
They only did care about themselves
Neglecting the ladder they climbed.
