Thou wert not silent then, but told
Sweet secrets dear - I drew so near
Thy shamefaced cheeks grown overbold,
That scarce thine eyes might I behold!

Ah was it then so long ago!

I felt this poem. I felt like I was reading about my life and the love of my life I crossed paths with one day. I really enjoyed this poem and I admire William Morris.
