Our Hearts Share Roots Poem by Tina Baaklini

Our Hearts Share Roots

My love,

A loving heart changes not
It recalls everything, never forgot
Warm are its feelings, they freeze not
Golden as the sun, a loving heart rusts not

Our hearts share roots
We're one heart, that's a truth!
Our heart is tender and oh so cute
Its heartbeats are soulful notes from a flute

Our souls are two halves
You know how to make me laugh
We pour ether wine from a carafe
And drink the toast of the love we have

Everyday you sow a red rose in my heart
You're so tender oh my sweetheart
We're writing our love as a new start
Nothing can ever set us apart
