Our Heros - Poem by Marilyn Lott

When our loved ones become heros
And they’re gone from our embrace
And we pray to God for their safety
And we’ve nothing but time and space
To worry for their tomorrows
As time drags slowly on
We hold our flag with loving hands
Pray to God to make us all strong.
