Our Last Goodbye Poem by becky tuffs

Our Last Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

I sat there right beside you,
Believeing it wasnt true,
I could not believe you would leave,
Leave us alone to grieve.

I kissed your face, held your hand,
Told you it was ok to enter gods land,
I told you it was ok to die,
Even though, yes we would cry.

You looked at me and gave a smile,
The tears came, i began to cry,
I told you, be free and fly,
That was our last goodbye.

You closed your eyes, away you flu,
We can never have another you,
Now your gone, now you rest,
God took you home, you are the best.
