Women and virtues for sale on the streets,
In this wondrous world we all live in,
Drugs sold by and given to children,
In destitution where no-one is forgiven.
The nadir of mankind's history,
Lived out on a daily basis,
Corruption is socially accepted,
While Humanity is frozen in stasis.
Poverty is a global carcinogenic.
With no hint of ever abating,
Whilst the richest one percentile,
In their ivory towers ever debating.
Governments and factions around the globe,
Fighting for what they believe,
Preaching war is the only way to peace,
A nirvana they can never achieve.
How many wars will it take?
For all to see that we have been blind,
Is mutual destruction of all going to be,
The true legacy of mankind? ? ? ? ? ?
