Our Lifes War (Age 17) Poem by Jessica C. Galvan

Our Lifes War (Age 17)

'Look at all
the different colored people
Threatened by
the War of living life
I realize
this world will never change
No body see's
the same colored blood inside
We're all fighting
this battle of freedom
Waiting for
the time to fly
Lost and alone
trapped in a black hole
This judgmental sun
is taking over our fragile sky's
Vastly burning
our ridiculed souls alive
For we are all one
blinded by words of criticism
This world
will never change
For this is war
the black hole of insignificance
and it will never end
This battle
this uncontrollable War
Will never die! ”
