Our Lives Are Mostly Unsaid Poem by Shalom Freedman

Our Lives Are Mostly Unsaid

Our lives are mostly unsaid
We have countless poems in us
Which will never be written-
The beauty of so many things
The hidden secrets of so much we sense
We can never fully tell-
All of us each of us lives poetry unwritten and unspoken-
This is God’s gift to us all
We have holy lives
We do not ourselves truly know to tell
And we enjoy them as sensations only our own
Which our very existence gives us.
