Our Love Poem by Okoemu Okoemu Okoemu

Our Love

Rating: 5.0

If our story is ever told
And all about us is ever known
You and I will make wave
Better than Romeo and Juliet
It is Abienekpen Osa'etin that will
He will write it better than Shakespeare
We will write it perfectly
And picture of us will be clear.

Last night I drove around the college
Deep in the wood where we used to be
Though you were not there with me
I felt your presence, your smell
Filled the air, the fragrance stweet-strong
Your sweet serene voice
I heard from the whistling of the birds
Shakespeare will be a learner
When Iyere Ehimen make this master piece
The picture will be so clear.

If you could read my mind love
What a tale my thoughts would tell
You know me better as much as i too do
All the moments we shared together
Where the best for me, life has to offer
But now, you are so far away
What a pain we don't talk like we used to
I don't know where we went wrong.

My joy, I want to write about
Is that we have a feeling
And Tuoyo Palmer wrote that
Feelings don't die, and ours won't fade
I know we still belong to each other
There is this thing about us
That even Don Williams
couldn't have sang about
That's makes us unique.

If our story is ever told
And all is ever known
We will top love stories in history.
