Our Neverland Poem by Oliver Coleman

Our Neverland

Under the watchful eyes of the stars
Straight on till morning and passing mars
Our hands touch, our hearts beat
The water glimmers, our eyes meet
Standing in the silver waves of light
Smiles in the dark that beam so bright
We make our way to the beach and walk barefoot through the sand
Lost in our very own Neverland
Gravity loses hold, we seem to float
In a field of fairy dust I might note
The universe blurs past us like a subway train
Next thing we know, we're covered in rain
Every dropp a different color
Seeing the rainbow on one another
This moment, one of a kind
As our fingers become intertwined
One adventure in all its glory
A boy and a girl makes one perfect story
