Our Own Way Of Life - Poem by RIC BASTASA

it's not at all shameful to text the
island of mist

it's not an embarrassment to say
that you hear a red voice

if you are feeling uneasy
well, it is not at all surprising if
at the last hour
we choose to live by our own

our own set of ethics
our own way of life
