Our Race Poem by Meetukah Mkuwu

Our Race

Terror has held me hostage
Sending shivers down my spine
Shadows of death hovering around
Hindering those who are meant to shine

Animosity in the world is growing strong
Selling souls for whats not going to stay for so long
I feel ashamed of what we have become
Soul less beings that have given in to the dreamcatchers charm

So meek
I never dared to think
But you've proven that
The world has its deadly twists
