Our Savior Poem by Rik Bertrand

Our Savior

I hold in my hands life as we know it,
Our future, a creation of our God.
He is our savior from the evil we have spread,
And we must protect him with our souls.
Cradled and cuddled, warmed with love,
I shall mold him to Gods will.
Life is changing and we shall change our ways,
Our love for one another will shelter the world.
I hold in my hand my precious baby son,
And he shall capture the world by storm,
He shall bring peace and love to this war torn world.
I am the father of the peacemaker, the savior.
And I shall protect him with all the powers to be.
He shall grow and become the kingdom,
and we shall change our ways and be free.
Look upon your future, and remember Cleary
This little man shall grow and become our king.
God bless thoughts who do not believe.
