Our Stroll Poem by Areese Woodson

Our Stroll

The blistering daylight star -
Starting days -
Walks to the other side of the Earth.
Dusk to dawn came to ourside;
Shadowy -
Stars are coming about -
Shinny -
Some are even other worlds.
Tiny artist glorifying the twilight.
A full moon hides behind the faded clouds,
But as the faint clouds depart,
The moon let's herself be seen like a goddess in a beauteous shimmering glow.
Crickets sit upon the dark olive pads.
They're at their symphony,
Bringing a harmony.
Some want to bust out the door, while plugging their ears,
While the other folks treat the tunes as lullabies for all ages.
A young couple chose to walk under broken street lamps,
Perhaps escaping the bothersome noises and crowds of daytime.
