.
Cupid's arrow did make me stupid.
As I sought a stroll out of my mind,
I found what felt like peace in yours,
Wonder how I still found mine,
Even as it looked so unfamiliar.
Ragged and jagged,
My shattered heart is hard to handle.
As it imbues my hands in ichorous red,
Must be the colour of love.
Now, I lay roses on my heart's grave.
Gravely, I say RIP to feelings no longer felt.
