Out Of Somberness Can Come Peace

Rating: 4.0

Manic feelings trying to settle, being adrift in the somber surroundings delicate as a petal.

Getting out of here is the task at hand, but I do not know where I actually am.

Scenery moves at a steady pace, the wind from the mountains stinging my face.

Wiping the fears away seems harder with each step, how far they dwell down I don't know the depth.

Shaking the webs that are clinging so hard, for much too long i've held up this guard.

My strength it buckles under the sun, and I realize now what i've become.

What once was strength is now weakness, but now I am done with all this meekness.

To gain back which once was mine, I will travel down the path until I shine.

Throw all that sorrow back from where it came, I will take back myself, take back my name.

Manic feelings trying to settle, I sting them away like the wild grown nettle.

I have escaped this wicked mind prison, like a phoenix from the ash, I now have risen.
