Out Of The Blue (A Song) Poem by Stephen Morris

Out Of The Blue (A Song)

We were all alone and lonely, My little boy just turned two,
The world is big and scary, when its staring back at you,
At night when I try to sleep, the tears fill my eyes, A million questions, with no answers, running through my mind;

God, where did I go wrong? What did I do? And can you please forgive me if I've forsaken you! I know it's been a long, long time, since I've prayed to you, and if you don't have time I understand,
I guess we'll make it through!

Well, I guess he didn't hear me =(I wake each day the same, the Sun shining bright outside, yet I'm all alone again.....
Yes I know I have my little boy, God's gift to me indeed,
I just guess I wished I had someone just for me!

Then out of the blue, there you were, in the middle of my storm, telling me I'd be ok, and you were so glad I was born! You said you loved my smile, then you said you loved me too, I guess God had my miracle, I just had to wait for you!

That's been five years ago and look how much we've grown! We are now a family, and this house is now our home! My little boy didn't have a Mama, but you let him in, and gave him love everyday, and you became his friend,

Cause out of the blue, there you were, in the middle of our storm, you wrapped us inside your love to keep us safe and warm, and from this day till forever, I give my love to you, the one that showed us true love, out of the blue!

I believe all of the children, are sent down from above, and God just lets us borrow them so we can give em love, and he saw we were sad and lonely, and he knew just what to do, Cause God sent us an Angel, and that Angel Girl was you!

And out of the blue, there you were in the middle of my storm, telling me I'd be ok, and you were so glad I was born, you said you loved my smile, then you said you loved him too, I guess God had our miracle, we just had to wait for you!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just a little song about single parents, (could be a Mom or a Dad) , and the struggles of raising your children alone, putting them first of course, but wondering if there will ever be a love for you, or someone to come in and love you all again, because life gets hectic, and then 'out of the blue' that someone special comes along and truly changes your life, and makes you a family again!
