Out There Poem by Raz Nicholson

Out There

Out there, there are those who rise above it
Out there, there are those who went and sunk it,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.

Out there, there are those who talk about it
Out there, there are those who went and did it,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.

Out there, there are those who sit and talk
Out there, there are those who shout and walk,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.

Out there, there are those who have given birth
Out there, there are those who put 'em back in dirt,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.

Out there, there are those who rule the land
Out there, there are those who do the best they can,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.

Out there, there is a wasteland, called history
Out there, there is future with bright clean sheen,
and somewhere in the middle, well there's us.
