Outside Looking, In Observing 4 - Poem by Enriquito Lucero Jr.

A distilled spirit
Poured inside a glass,
Deceiving is it
Like a striking lass.

He gulps his dry throat
Cajoled with desire,
A path paved and fought
Once upon so dire.

But he should decide
Which path he should take,
It's a one day ride
With what life to make.

* It refers to a sober alcoholic yet it could apply to all form of restraint addictions.
