Outside Within Poem by Nicholas Titus

Outside Within

For I have seen many things in my life
For I am only the age of 20
But yet I have seen plenty
Plenty of joy
Plenty of pain
In all that I have seen there is much to gain
To gain the friends of now and past
To see everything fly by so damn fast
To be lost in translation
To see all of my ramifications
All that I have done wrong there must be some right
Some right of the words I have chosen
Some right in my heart that is frozen
All that I have seen
Is really a dream within a dream?
Is a nightmare that I am stuck in waiting to wake up
That great dream that just about to pick-up
Then suddenly I am brought back here
Wondering where is where?
How can I feel all of this and still be in motion
It seems like life is in fast-forward then slow motion
So with two winks and a grin
'My outside then turned to within'..........
