Over Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

Over

My hearts desire,
Is not but a fire.
As life overwhelms you,
My heart might compele you.
As my life ends,
Death will close in.
Your heart stops beating,
As breath escapes me.
The dea will soon rise,
The fallen awake.
My heart is thumping,
As my body heats.
The world begins it's end,
The fateful day will come.
This is never ending,
The pain will not stop.
All the screaming,
Covered in blood.
The gruesome streets,
The howling dogs.
Our world is over,
Our demise near.
They are coming to destroy,
All we humans hold dear.
