Oz's Music Box Poem by Tom Helps

Oz's Music Box

Rating: 5.0

With just a twist
as if already there
uncovers a waltz
a song floats on thin air

As if it was endless
such a sound from a small box
not measure in volume
or time on ticking clocks

In a different world
a fireside dance
a wizard, a witch
start a romance

Love is quite strange
it's fragile and unknowingly bold
what would you do to have that love
a love worth more than any power, rubies or gold

There is more to this story
hidden in this tune
a king to a thrown
travelled by hot air balloon

A gift so special
the gears slow down
the lid closes
a theme of dance, forever around
