Pacify Me Poem by matthew broxton

Pacify Me

Pacify me,
as I begin to weep,
hold me close
as tears begin to dribble onto my cheek.

I don't know if I'm scared,
or frantically upset,
it happens so much
my emotional antennaes confused,
so hold me tight
and be aware of the signs.

Pacify me,
while I scream and shout,
keep it at bay
while my blood begins to burn.
So hold me tight,
deafen your ears
to my present plight.

Dance with me! !
I'm the life and the soul,
todays party has begun,
I love you more than ever,
so lets run away
and have a holiday in the sun.
