Pagan Prayer Poem by Simon Morgenstern

Pagan Prayer

Rating: 3.5

Open the gates,
Look to the sky,
At long last,
The old gods arrive.

Hands to your swords,
Swords up and shine,
Wounded, cry no more,
Were your scars with pride!

Ground opens
Nav take us in
We are not forgotten,
Its your war we'll win!

There´s a shadow,
clouding the sun,
In hasty gallop,
It has begun!

On the back of Dyogin,
With Yarost on my side,
The sword of the fallen,
In fire I ride!

In the blood and mist,
Dabog rises tall,
True son of his father,
A god to us all,

With his brothers,
Gods by right,
Servants of the one,
He stands ground and fights!

Open the gates,
Look at the sky,
In righteous faith,
Till the time you die.

The one is now with us,
Against the dark,
His heavenly flame,
Burns bright in our hearts!
