Pain Poem by Jeremy Fallecker

Pain

Rating: 5.0

Pain... running through me,
as if leaves covered with dew.
The thought of feeling that cannot be seen,
suppressed; not knowing what it will do;
what it will do, to me and you.

Depression... covering my soul,
like an octopus strangling its' prey.
No worries, the bell will soon toll,
taking me away from this pleasantly disturbed day;
taking me far away, far away, far away I say!

Darkness... filling my heart,
as if 1,000 needles inject their poison repeatedly.
Rolling away on a steel cart,
thy life ending suddenly;
ending up, so sudden, that sudden could not catch up.

Pain... flows through us,
it courses through all.
With pain, thou cannot fuss,
for it will stay, patiently, everall.
Forever and ever; coursing through us all.
