Pain Poem by Alexander Hale

Pain

The medication does nothing for me
It still hurts so much inside.
The pain I feel is like a never ending rain
I wish for a drought to end this pain.

Someone please help me
I'm screaming inside.
Why are you putting me through this
I can't see through your lies.

It tears me up inside and I no longer sleep
The pain is just too much to bear.
Inch by inch it ravishes my body
Taking only what it needs.

I can see the wholes it leaves
There big and nasty and they throb for days.
I need you to be here don't leave me this way

I'm screaming inside
can't you hear it.

I'm dying inside
don't you see it.
