Pain Poem by Jay Lundahan

Pain

Rating: 5.0

I’m alone in the dark;
Bringing those mem’ries that marked;
Wasting time to define;
The day when you were mine.

I learned to accept everything;
I’m sorry for my shortcoming;
I let myself be blamed;
Like the poet that needs the pain.

Every time I hurt you;
I don’t know what to do;
Let me explain to you;
I want to say that I love you.

I’ve been lucky to have you;
I don’t know if you can’t feel it too;
Maybe it’s time for me to go;
I thank God for the pain from you.
