Pain happens all the time
forgiveness takes place constantly
love expands internally
people live like there’s no tomorrow
whether the day comes or not you lived today
but when people hold regrets close to their hearts
and lost time disappears
and the ones you once trusted can no longer be there for you
what do you do?
I want to be excepted as the person I am
but when your loved ones refuse to love you for who you are
you just got screwed over by the ones you used to call friends
and the ones you couldn’t live without
the people who made you, you
and the humans who made this incredibly painful world manageable
what do you do when they take off
to live there life better without you in it
that’s the kind of pain that is deep enough to split a soul
that’s the pain that will educe inability to love
the pain your love ones bring
is also the ones who tear apart the false from fake
and take away the pain of simple days
and the regular ups and downs of tomorrow
