I wish I could write about
all these things I feel
I wish that i sould just let go
and let myself heal
I wish that you could only see
what all this is doing to me
I don't want to tear you down
I don't want to steal your crown
You've worked and waited for so long
Interfering would be wrong
I'll just sit and wait my turn
So that I can tell you and you'll learn
Just what pains me every day
It seems like forever until I can say
All the things you need to hear
that have waited all of a year
Then all of this can stop
the blood will no longer dropp
from the wrist
that helps to hold this head up high
each and every day
Keeping that image is my job
I can't let you know
I am weak
